The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD)’s sports centre is looking for players to round out the mixed recreational hockey league that starts July 24, 2012.
The CVRD’s summer hockey league is a non-contact league for adults 18 and over. League play is Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. The cost is $182.00 for 12 games and free for goalies.
“This is a great opportunity to play hockey in a prime time slot,” said Jennifer Zbinden, CVRD’s manager of recreation programs. “We take care of scheduling the games, and organizing the referees and scorekeepers – all you do is show up ready to play.”
