The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is offering free summer swim lessons at its Comox Valley sports centre August 26-29, 2013.
From toddlers to seniors, there’s plenty of opportunity to take advantage of these four-day swim lessons scheduled during the 3 – 6 p.m. time period.
“It’s the perfect time of year to keep active and have fun learning new swimming and water safety skills,” said CVRD’s manager of recreation programs, Jennifer Zbinden. “The free swim lessons will be taught by Red Cross water safety instructors-in-training and supervised by certified instructor trainers and CVRD’s aquatic centre staff.”
