Occuring during the same long weekend as the Comox Nautical Days celebration (BC Day Long Weekend) this anual event showcases all forms of arts and crafts at its best. Artisans from all over Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia to display and sell their lifes work. Categories include

Pottery, Fabric Arts, Hand Made Toys, Leather, Sculpture, Jewelry, Handmade Paper, Weaving, Original Paintings, Prints, Metal, Woodcraft, Glass, Furniture, and more!

Along with the arts and crafts there is endless entertainment and fine food to be enjoyed by all.

Artisans and entertainment acts from across Canada are set to dazzle you at The 26th Annual Filberg Festival in Comox  on Vancouver Island from August 1st - 4th.  

This festival is the largest outdoor juried arts & crafts festival in the Pacific Northwest and is held to raise the funds needed to maintain and restore the nine acre Filberg property as well as to celebrate excellence in Canadian art and craft and music.

Musical highlights include JP Cormier from Cape Breton, Fred Eaglesmith from Ontario, Ellen McIlwaine from Alberta and Spirit of the West from BC.

This family friendly festival features over 100 craft booths and 35 entertainers from all across the country as well as a comprehensive children's area and a very fine historical exhibit featuring the paintings of the world famous ornithologist Allan Brooks and naturalist Hamilton Mack Laing in the Lodge which Robert Filberg had built in 1929. [The beachside properties of Allan Brooks, Hamilton Mack Laing and Comox Logging Company owner, Robert Filberg, followed along the same shoreline in Comox.]
