Every year on Canada Day (July 01) Courtenay hosts the annual Canada Day Parade for the Comox Valley. The Parade starts at the top of 5th Street and concludes just over the bridge at Lewis Park.  Canada Day however, isn’t the only day at this time when events are happening. On the days leading up to Canada day, there are many fun family events held each year in downtown Courtenay, at Lewis Park, and at Simms Park.
