We went to plates for the firsts time today and have mixed feelings. We waited at the door for some time to be seated. A wasitress was at the front doing something and it took some time before she even acknowledged we were there.

Eventually we did get a seat, and ordered our meals. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and asked if she could substitute the Feta for another cheese. The waitress seemed quite confused, as if she didn't know that Feta was a type of cheese. The substitute was not a problem, and according to my wife the sandwich was very good.

I ordered the Traditional Clubhouse, and it was very good - I'd order it again. Both of us started off with the beef vegetable soup, it was also delicious.

I don't want to speak too badly about the waitress that served us as everyone has their share of bad days, but I will note that she was fairly unfriendly, seemed unknowledgeable, and just didn't give that level of service we expected.

While the food was very good, about a 4 out of 5, the service was more like a 2 out of 5. As a result my overall rating is 3/5. If the service had been better, this would definitely qualify as a 4/5 rating in my books. We will go back, and when that happens, I will update this review with a follow up.
