Denman is a relatively small island taking up an area of about 51 square kilometers and is home to some 1,000 year round residents. Denman Island is popular among tourists visiting the Comox Valley, primarily in the Summer months who seek out unique arts & crafts.
The downtown core of Denman Island is relatively small consisting of a general store, gas station, post office, hardware store, bakery, natural foods shop, bookstore, dental business and a few other select shops and services. Denman is largely known has a home for local artisans hosting a thriving artistic community.
