Comox Valley Weather

The Comox Valley offers a very moderate climate. While there are the occasional extreme hot and cold days, the weather here is typically quite comfortable. Summer days get hot enough to enjoy a swim in the lake, ocean or river, but do not often reach unbearable highs. The winter months can be quite humid, but on average the temperature remains above freezing. While the Comox Valley is no stranger to a good snowfall in the winter months, for the most part we see only 1 to 2 significant snowfalls a year.

Comox Valley Weather Forecast

Typically Comox and Courtenay share near identical weather, rarely does the forecast for Comox & Courtenay different. Cumberland is positioned higher into the mountains and as such tends to get slightly cooler temperatures, a bit more rain, and more snow in the winter. On foggy days however Cumberland tends to be above the fog line and enjoying sun while Courtenay & Comox are blocked out.
