Vancouver Island Visitor Centre
The Vancouver Island Visitor Centre opened its doors of their new location in February of 2012. It is located along the Comox Valley Parkway with access off of Small Rd in Cumberland BC, within view of the Inland Island Highway and the main Comox Valley Exit (Exit 117).
This centre offers tourist accommodation booking service, a gift shop, ticket sales for various activities, and ample local information directed towards tourists and locals.
Hours are 9:00am – 4:00pm

We live in Courtenay and have seen the new visitor’s centre a number of times when driving the connector between 19A and 19, but have never seen a way in!!!
Today (Sunday) I’ve tried to phone for information, but 250-334-2427 doesn’t appear to get me to you???
I am hoping to obtain fishing information for a visitor who arrives tomorrow (July 9th) for 10 days – from Texas.

Take the left (or Right) as if you were on your way to Sleg, and head down Small Road. For Fishing, you might want to check out Gone Fishing across from the mall.
