Advertising FAQ

Who designs the ads?
Ads can be designed by either the advertiser, or by ComoxValleyGuide. We do not charge to design ads for advertisers, however, these ads are only permitted to be used on this site if we design them. All ads must meet a certain quality standard, and low resolution ads may be either rejected, or redesigned by us.

Who creates the content for my unique page?
All content must be provided by the advertiser. If you would like us to write the content for you, this service is available, but a charge will apply. Please contact us for a custom quote if you require us to write the copy for you.

Can I change my ad?
Yes. There are no additional fees for ad changes, however, we only provide on free ad design per year. If you send us the new ad, we will allow for up to one monthly update. Updating ads more frequently may result in a nominal charge.

Why not just stick with Bronze?
Moving up to at least the Silver package allows you to put a link to your web site. This link is valuable for search engine rankings, but more importantly, directing traffic straight to your main information source.

How can payment be made?
Payments can be made by cheque, money order, cash, or PayPal. Using PayPal will allow you to use a major credit card if you choose. All payments should be made payable to:

Are payments refundable?
Once your ad has been placed online payments are non-refundable

What happens at the end of my 1 year term?
In the 11th month of your term we will contact you to confirm if you wish to renew your ad for another year. If you choose to renew, payment will be required by the expiry date of your ad. If payment is not made by such date, your ad will be removed. There is no charge, other than the regular annual fee, to post your ad back online.
