It is that time of year again. hikers, bikers, campers and everyone else who is adventuring outside with the warmer weather are out and enjoying our Comox Valley forests, but we are not the only ones. Cougars and bears are now out and about also, and encountering them while you are out in the wild is a real possibility.
We were going to post a bunch of tips and advice to help you out should you encounter one of these hungry animals, but a couple other sites have done such a great job, we will just give you a couple links to read up.
